Iberian Lynx

The Iberian Lynx is the most threatened cat and is currently on the verge of extinctions. Some characteristics include being medium in size, a bobbed tail, a spotted coat (yellowish to red to tawny in colour) with brown or black spots and there underparts are white with black tufts of hair on the tips of their ears.
The Iberian Lynx is a nocturnal, solitaire and a territorial creature. . The mating season peaks in the beginning of the year and the have up to 4 kittens. They mainly eat European rabbits or small deer.
Historically, they were found through the Iberian peninsula and the south of France, but there numbers and habitat are declining. Nowadays they are found throughout the Spanish Autonomic region and Andalusia : Donana and Andujar-Cardena
The mostly inhabit Mediterranean woodlands and scrubs.
Their status is critically endangered and they have a number of threats.
