Name: Spanish Imperial Eagle
Scientific Name: Aquila Adalberti
Habitat: Mainly Mediterranean Forests, they can also be found in "Dehesas" a stretch of prairie land in Spain, and around some farms.
Length: 78-82 cm
Wingspan: 180-210 cm
Weight: 2,500-3,500 g
Reproduction: They can reproduce after 4-5 years. 1-4 eggs at a time. Eggs incubate for about 44 days. The young stay in the nest for about 75 days.
Rating: Vulnerable, they have a very small population of about 282 pairs in 2010.
Threats: Loss of food (mainly rabbits), and protecting the land that they call their home.
